Prices

In today’s marketplace, the cost of materials, tariffs, and labor is constantly changing. As a result, the prices of raw materials, finished goods, and services may change without notice. Catalog and website prices may not always reflect the most current rates.

If you need exact amounts, please contact us directly for a quote. Requests are typically processed within 2 business days.​​  All credit card payments are subject to a 3% processing fee.

Sales Tax

Sales tax of 8.75% will be added to all orders unless a valid resale or tax exemption certificate is provided and on file.

By law, we cannot assume that a customer wishes to use their resale license unless it is explicitly stated at the time of purchase. If you qualify for a tax exemption, you must notify us when placing your order and provide the appropriate documentation.

     

We provide state issued forms to help you claim a tax exemption if eligible. Please download, complete the form and bring it to Free Form Clay so we can update your account.​

Placing a Special Order

Items that are not regularly stocked by Free Form Clay are considered special order items. To determine whether an item is regularly stocked or considered a special order, please browse the relevant sections of our website. Products listed on our website are items we normally carry in store. 

 

You can place a special order in store or via the order form linked below. Please allow up to 2 business days for your order to be processed.​  If any items are out of stock or unavailable, we will contact you via your preferred contact method to discuss alternative options or expected turnaround times.

If you would like to purchase in stock items immediately and special order the remaining items, please place your order in store rather than using the special order form. We do not offer partial pickups. If your order contains both special order items and products that we normally stock, and you would like to pick everything up at the same time, you may place your order using the form below.

Once your order is processed, you'll receive an invoice via email. Inventory is not held, reserved, or set aside until payment is received. When your order is ready, we'll notify you using your preferred contact method. Orders will be held for 10 days from notification. Orders not picked up within 10 days are subject to a 100% restocking fee, and future special orders may be declined.

Checking Order Status

Order status inquiries are handled by email only. Please contact us at clay@freeformclay.sdcoxmail.com and include your name and order information. This ensures we can quickly and accurately provide you with the most up-to-date information.

Returns & Cancellations

We offer a 60 day return policy on most items. To qualify for a return, items must be unopened, unused, and accompanied by a receipt of purchase. Please note that special orders and kiln shelves are final sale and are not eligible for refunds. All equipment (kilns, wheels, etc.) are also final sale.

Refusal of Service

Free Form Clay reserves the right to refuse service, sales, special orders, deliveries, or future orders at its discretion. Customers are expected to comply with store policies and treat staff with courtesy and respect. This includes situations involving behavior or circumstances that significantly disrupt business operations.
