Firing Range
We fire up to Δ5 oxidation using our electric kiln, providing consistent results for both low and mid fire work.
Pricing
Pricing depends on the amount of kiln space your work occupies. Use our pricing calculator for an estimate, but please note that all prices are approximate and not guaranteed. Flatware is charged at double the standard price. Stilting is available upon request at $1 per stilt.
Accepted Work
To ensure safe firings, we do not accept wet, messy, or solid work, and we do not perform single firings. We strongly recommend adding a maker’s mark to the bottom of your pieces, since most pots tend to look similar. Without a potter’s mark, we cannot guarantee the safe return of your work.
Dropping Off
Bring your pieces in a box or bin during business hours. Please ensure items are properly prepared and ready for firing.
Turnaround & Pickup
Typical turnaround is 3–4 weeks. Once your work is complete, we will notify you, and pieces must be picked up within 30 days of notification.
